Hi, i'm trying to get into graduate school, but i'm worried that my horrid gpa is going to prevent me from getting in.

long story short, i had severe depression in college, first 3 semesters i had horrible gpa, but i've had minor success after i got some help, i had 3.2, 2.9, 3.2, 0 ( yes, 0), 3.3, 3.2 gpa in the last 6 semesters, and have close to 3.2 gpa in statistics, which is what i plan on studying at graduate school.....
i'm planning on applying to top 50 program, i don't even think i should try at higher ranked ones because of that GPA, and i do have a good GRE score..(800 Quant, 750 verbal, haven't received writing score yet probably 5ish)

i asked the school i would love to go to, and they told me that admitted students had an
average of 3.3 gpa and 480 verbal 750 quant, and 4 writing and they accepted 50% of applicants, and told me that applicants with sub 3 gpa are considered.

what do you guys think my chance of getting admitted into this school or other similarly ranked schools? I think my SOP and recommendation letters are going to be solid...
