2 ACT tests in one month?

Hey guys. I registered for the April 14th ACT. However, since I live in Colorado, students will be required to take a state administered ACT, on April 24th.

Will it be a problem that I will be taking two tests in one month? For example, will the questions be the same? If it won't be a problem, do you have any suggestions for ways I can do better by using this opportunity? As in, should I study differently?

I will buy "Cracking the ACT" by PR and probably the red "The Real ACT" books. Are there any alternatives? I haven't taken any real practice tests yet, but from the "fake" practice tests I've taken in school I get around 28. I will try my best to get that up to >30. Any advice would be awesome.

Thanks!

I don’t think it will! I’m doing the same thing :)

Many students in Illinois also take two exams in April. Don’t worry the exams are different! In your ACT account, one will be called the April National test and the other the April State test. So if you want to only send the scores from one, it won’t be a problem.
