Do ALL Big Campus colleges and/or Division 1 colleges require 2 years in a foreign language for a 4 year degree? I cant stand my spanish teacher at my school and I dont want to switch languages and start back at French 1 or German 1. And if so, if I take a spanish class after high school and pass it does it count as the second year?

Colleges vary widely in their foreign language requirements. Some schools have no requirements at all while other schools require up to two years. You have to look at the core/distribution requirements of each school. That said, Xavier, as a Jesuit university likely has a some foreign language requirement as part of its core curriculum.

I see a Graphic Design concentration within the Art Department. It says on the web page (scrolling part on the right) that students work with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, Flash, Dreamweaver and Aftereffects. Is that what you had in mind?

The answer is not even the same at the same college! At UCLA, for example, students must take a FL in the College of Letters and Sciences, but no FL in the College of Engineering. Cal-Berkeley will allow students to fulfill the FL with high school work.
