Note:
Note: Early decision and Spring transfer applicants will be able to view their decisions around December 1st. Regular decision applicants will be able to view their decisions around April 1st. Fall transfer applicants will be able to view decisions around April 30th.

post the college u applied to!

College of Arts and Sciences

Arts and Sciences

arts and sciences

Do more people apply to "arts and sciences"?

Arts and Sciences

Yes, jml, most applicants to UVA apply to the college of arts & sciences.

I think the message was received Friday. Possibly Monday, but I'm not really certain.

oh well, i guess i can be a little less frantic about checking the website now. like, every couple hours, instead of every 15 mins lol...

How's everybody holding up? I'm pretty nervous!

According to this website, though, UVA admits nearly 40% ED, defers 50%, and only denies 10%. So let's hope we're in that first 90%, at least! (Although it doesn't say how many deferred students are ultimately accepted...) The info is from 2004, but I doubt anything has changed drastically.

Early decision applicants to the University of Virginia faced slightly better odds this fall. Of the 2,317 who applied, 985 or 42.5 percent were offered a place in U.Va.s Class of 2009, compared to 39.3 percent of last years early decision applicants.

Another 1,082 had their applications deferred and will be reconsidered during the regular spring admission cycle. The remaining 245 saw their applications denied.
