My school neither ranks nor weighs gpa's but I would judge my curriculum as difficult (accelerated science classes, first level math classes, average english and social sciences classes). It was not the MOST difficult curriculum, but it was pretty close.

Extracurriculars:
I am varsity sailing co-captain and have been on the varsity team soph, jr. and sr. years. I have 37 flight hours. I am head of the sailing program at a local town beach. There are various other small things, but these were the most significant.

I got deferred. my GPA is same as yours but I have higher SATs...Some good extra currics, major one is editor-in-chief of yrbook... Yeah.

Do you know where I can find statistics for deferred students and stuff? I'm planning to write them a heartfelt statement about how I like their school + burlington + everything and how I'll release my first semester grades as soon as we get them etc, but what else can I do??

Congrats, btw. :)

i cross posted this in the other EA thread!

does anyone have an idea of how much you can slack off/let your grades slip? my grades are slipping a bit due to harder courses, but i also hope to get to take second semester easy. i got in early with a vip app and was just wondering how much i can relax without uvm getting upset

Hey, I'm a freshman at UVM so I can tell you about stuff I heard last year. UVM honestly is pretty lax about senior year grades. They don't want to take back any acceptances. Obviously don't fail any classes...I'd say nothing below a 70 and you'll be fine.
