does anyone have this?

on a similar note (sry to hijack your thread), did the businessweek undergrad rankings come out yet for this year?

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that Wharton is number one for finance and number one in the business week undergrad rankings.

lol, but it would be nice to have some other schools to apply to..you know, some that are reasonable to get into

This is from a few years ago, I don't anticipate that it changed that much:

Business Week already said that they were planning to do their undergraduate business rankings only every two to three years--and they don't do separate rankings for separate disciplines like finance.

But this is USnews, they have specialty ranking for business this year and I have a list of 5 schools, but i didnt have the full list :(

Those rankings are about as far off and completely meaningless as the rankings they have for accounting (see other thread).

o yeah. north carolina chapel hill's kenan flagler is ranked #2 for accounting but if you ever look around, u will notice, unc doesn't even offer a undergraduate accounting degree!

Way to go BW, because we all know that Cornell trumps Wharton in finance! I'm sorry, but AEM doesn't even match Stern for finance (please don't take this personally Big Red; I am not trying to discredit you as a fine institution.)

Does Financial Management = Finance?? thanks

lol, i absolutely refuse to believe that Cornell trumps Wharton and Stern for finance...I've always had this feeling that Cornell has been colluding with BW to make the rankings favor cornell....i started suspecting this when cornell's undergraduate "business" program was ranked 4th overall, and now it's ranked #1 for finance lol wth??

Lol... honestly which one is more reliable, US News of Business Week??

USNW is more highly rated generally, and their sub-rankings in areas like business tend to be more valid (unlike their general rankings which add in stupid things like alumni contribution rates).

Business Week is good in that they add in things like placement rates, quality of facilities, and faculty rankings. However, what really makes them less valid is the fact that they use both student rankings (highly subjective at certain schools where people rank the school highly just to stay at the top of the BW rankings) and also because they use recruiters' rankings--which tend to focus not only on the quality of the students interviewed, but also on whether they were treated well by the placement office. For example, two years ago UC Berkeley moved way up the BW ranking when it was pointed out that they were sending limos to pick up all the recruiters flying in. This past year UC Berkeley ranking dropped significantly as that practice was discontinued due to UC budget cuts--and the practice being questioned by the local media.
Some wonder whether similar things are happening at Cornell--since the school moved from #12 to #4 to #1 during the past three years.

i would look at us news's top 10 and businessweek rest of the rankings
i think us news is pretty dead on in terms of top 10 but the teens are a little messed up.
