Wow that was an AP Test? Why did they give us so much time it only took like 10 minutes. The GridWorld FRQ was way too easy. Are they just trying to give those 5’s away?

I hope I didn’t do what I thought I did, hmm 41 questions, that isn’t possible, last 5 minutes of multiple choice I was trying to fix my misalignment, I might have.

Probably a 4, I mean the writing I got them, except the gridworld thing which I barely went over Isort of got. I forgot how to check if an actor was in one of the locations
so i Bs’d it and wrote !=null

I will shootmyself in the foot if I get a 3 due to misalignment.

I finished the written response 45min early, until I realized my gridworld one was screwd up.

Voteban gridworld

The MC were ehh, but the frq’s were soo easyy I kind of struggled with the gridworld one though (learned it last night-- don’t hate). I ended up writing some obscure and inefficient code because I was too lazy to figure out how to nest the loops -.-

I hope the curve is still good, even though it seems like everyone did well ://

FRQ seemed really easy (except for GridWorld … never really studied it with motivation).

Did not enjoy the Multiple Choice :/

Do not let this forum mislead you. We are a minuscule fraction of the percentage of people who take this test. The curve will be fine.

Hey guys I can’t believe I still don’t know this lol but is there a 0.25 deduction for each problem you get wrong on the MC?

Yes, there is.

What are the rules in terms of discussing the FRQ questions (I know we cant discuss the MC sections)??

We can discuss them on Thursday (48 hours).

Do you guys think its possible to get a 5 with maybe a -15 on MC and basically perfect FRQ?

I think you easily could if you did that well on the FRQ.

I’m surprised how well I might have done. The FRQ was much easier than I expected, except the gridworld one was tricky. The MC wasn’t as bad as I thought either. So angry at myself about one of them because I forgot how the grid is set up number wise.

multiple choice was ehhhh
frq was so easy
maybe a little too easy…

^Yeah it should be possible. Its 25 - 4 (round up) = 21 which is about 50%

and 100% in the FRQ so that is 75% total, which should get you a five

MC, a few were difficult (and I realized just now that I missed one I thought I had…ugh). FRQ was pretty good (gridworld was tricky and my program was long, but it wasn’t too bad)

15 MC wrong and perfect on the FRQs probably would not get you a 5 according to Barron’s curve.

15 wrong = 21.25 raw score on MC. Multiply by 1.111: 23.6
Perfect on FRQs: 36 raw score. No multiplier.

23.6 + 36 = 59.6. Barron’s says you need a 60 to get a 5.

How did you guys do the Gridworld one for 2 squares away?
I couldn’t figure it out, just muscled my way through it with 2 for statements (x,y coordinates)

@zhangm94

I’ll tell you what I wrote on Thursday :)

I’d rather not get into trouble since we’re not allowed to discuss the Free Response Questions until 2 days have passed.

I will tell you how I did it on Thursday as well.

This is not in response to any question that anyone asked in this thread and definitely is not related to a question on the test.

I just thought you guys should know that the Location class in gridworld has two nifty methods called getRow() and getCol(). You can use these methods to find out how far two locations are from each other in both the x and y directions, among other uses, that’s just one example.

I did use those methods. :)

Same here :D
