2010 Wait for AP Scores by Mail Thread

the tags for this thread are hilarious o_O: “buy $8 worth of candy, call edna…it’s worth it, candy makes you fat, edna hates you guys, edna isn’t worth the $8, fast metabolism ftw, save money” LOL

anyway, i tried calling but i lost my ap number and for some reason my ssn didnt help at all -___-
and i live all the way in NJ

I just talked to Edna and I made her repeat my APUSH score like 7 times. It just felt so good. “5, 5, 5, 5,5”
“what!?!?”
“AHHHHHHHHH!”
I was thinking about not calling, but then I felt dying to know. I guess it was worth the call because now I’m so happy. WHOOOoooo!

^ :open_mouth: you couldnt resist the temptation??! you obviously dont belong in this thread -__-
this thread is reserved for people who are able to delay their immediate need for gratification…people like me. … SIKE im gonna call tomorrow :stuck_out_tongue:
congrats on the 5 jejeje

I’m pretty confident in my scores so I’m just going to wait for them to come in the mail. Plus, I’m currently in a post-Junior year maximum lethargy mode.

congratulations elleway!

Ehhh. I lost my AP number, so guess I’ll be waiting another few weeks. To be honest, the only reason I care is that I need the scores to determine whether or not to take the French placement test for college…oh well.

If you put your SSN on the sheet, you can get your scores now on the phone.

It’s not that we cannot afford it. Most, if not all, of us could afford to call. For me, it’s about the principle of the thing. Am I going to pay for something that I can get free? Nah, that’s the kind of thinking that makes people overspend and go into debt.

Plus, I’m saving up for something. I want to see only increases in my account, not little decreases.

It’s my first time getting AP scores so could someone tell me what there is on the score report that they send you?

^ just the name of the exam and your score…that’s basically it exam wise

This will be my first score report, too, so I’m not completely sure. I’ve also heard that it is just the name of the course and the score out of five.

I have heard that there’s two or three of them that have subscores in addition to the normal score. I think that Calc BC has an AB subscore.

^AP Music Theory also has a subscore

I agree. That’s why I’m waiting

West Coast gets their scores in the mail next week.

DO WE REALLY GET THEM NEXT WEEK! Im soooo excited. last year I only took one, and I almost died of excitement when I opened the letter. I dont know How Ill handle it with four tests this year!

^Yup, I am extremely excited. I’m really anxious to see just how well my hard work paid off.

I hate mail services: they’re so slow.

I wonder if Las Vegas is west coast. We are on west coast time and closer to Cally than Washington. That would be tight to get my score next week.

Thanks Harambee. I thought that there was another, but I could not remember it.

^^Nevada has received their scores around the same time as California in the past, according to the threads of past years.
