In the past years, it seems to take two to three days for Stanford to send all the invites. I am guessing that depending on the home department, today, Monday, Tuesday will be the days when they will send out the invites.

I just got an interview invitation from the Watson School, also.

As far as the missing GRE scores, I second SuperPiePie’s suggestion. One of the schools I applied to was missing a recommendation letter that had been submitted. They were very helpful when I called and we had it worked out within a day or so.

University of Chicago Microbiology invite today by email

is Tufts done sending out invites?

does anyone have info on UC Davis, Northwestern IGP, Boston University Cell Bio, or Georgetown?

Anyone hear from Cornell Weill (cell) ?

CompuBio: Seems like UAB may do rolling admissions. When did you apply?

No, sorry, I haven’t asked.

@bioblogger from past year’s, it looks lk it’ll be next week, and the website said it’s recruitment days, so i’m guessing you have to be accepted to be invited?

Sweeet! Just got an interview at Stanford for Developmental Biology.

I guess I should post my stats:
University of Chicago current fourth year
GRE: 800Q, 620V (89%), 6.0AW
I’ve worked in the same lab here at UChicago for 3 years, part time in the school year and full time in the summer. No publications but I feel pretty well respected by my PI
My other two recommendations are from professors who I’ve taken classes with and know my research really well.

Applied to: UCSF Tetrad, UCBerkeley, UCLA, UCSD, Stanford, Harvard, Duke
Interviews: Duke, Stanford

Which Tufts program did you apply to? I only ask because I work in the Neuro dept. and I’m pretty sure they are done with ISP invites but other programs might be on a different schedule

I called Mt Sinai on Wednesday and I was told that they just received hundreds of GRE scores. The person in charge of entering them into the system was out of town but should be back in a couple days. I was told that I had nothing to worry about. However, I submitted my scores back in June when I took the exam, so I hope mine aren’t lost!

Good job! I applied to the Developmental and Cancer Bio Home Programs. Do you think they sent out all of the invites for Developmental so far? :-/

@Ns1A, Which program at Princeton did you apply to? Congrats on the invites.

@phagocytosis

Hey! Great news! (or bad news since they possibly received hundreds of applications)
Your GRE score is also still missing? I sent mine to 2464 but with the department code of the immunology 0608
I dont know if they are able to see it, thats why Im worried. Anyway
I re-sent my GRE scores 10 days ago.

They told you then they are going to start reviewing?

Best of luck!

Nervously waiting for a response from Stanford!

So far:

Interviews: Yale BBS, Princeton (Bio), MIT (Bio)
Accepted: None
Rejected: None
Still waiting: Harvard BBS and MCB, UPenn, Rockefeller, Columbia, Baylor College of Medicine, UCSF, UCSB, UC Berkeley, UCSD, Stanford, Caltech (yeah… I applied to a few schools…)

@Immunol

Yes, my scores are still missing. I think I also sent mine to the immunology department … I don’t remember, it was a while ago.

I think some people on this forum have already heard back, so Mt. Sinai may have rolling admissions. The wait is killing me - I can’t stop obsessively checking my email!!

@ ADresearcher
My file was done November 18th I think, and they called me on Dec. 8th. They have 2 interview weekends for BSB as far as I understand, the first is the 13-15th and I didn’t inquire about the 2nd. Like I said before, I don’t know about the other tracks.

I’m nervous for Stanford, now, too!

I did just receive an email from Chicago, though. So far this is where I am at:

Interviews: Chicago, Yale, Baylor, Vanderbilt, NYU
Acceptances/Rejections: None yet
Waiting: BU, Tufts, Stanford, Minnesota, and Harvard BBS

Good luck to everyone and thanks for all the advice so far- I think I need to force myself to sign off from this forum for at least a few days- I am hitting refresh on this and my email WAY too much!

Just got emails today for interview invites to U Penn CAMB (2/3-2/5), JHU BCMB (2/17-2/20) and Albert Einstein (2/14-2/15). Yay! Only sad thing is I really love Weill Cornell’s program and am waiting to hear from them. I believe their interview interferes with JHU’s. I’ve heard they don’t really have alternate recruitment weekends, does anyone know if they schedule alternate times for people who have already made commitments?
