@curlzgrl9331, I’m waiting to see if anyone has heard form stanford cancer bio, too. anxious!

Anyone know if invites are done alphabetically at aall?

has anyone here applied to/heard from Stanford Biosciences Biochemistry?

does anyone else have cornell and columbia interviews on the same weekend?? anyway we can go to both?

@weezer828

I also applied Stanford Biochemistry and have not heard anything yet.

I am also waiting for Harvard Chemical Biology. Has anyone heard anything from this program?

cbck98: yeah i’m nervous too! we will be alright anyway though interview or not
have a great day!

Any word on CalTech (especially its biology program)? I suppose I’m getting too antsy too early since the admission deadline was only January 1…

^ Caltech seems to be silent thus far. I also applied to biology.

Word in the hallways is that the UCSF BMS admit committee is still meeting, and not making any (final?) decisions until the end of the month.

I’ve also seen a couple of posts that people got interviews already, so maybe they’re doing it in waves? I know someone who got invited really late last year, so I wouldn’t give up yet…

@weezer828

I have also applied Stanford Biochem, have not heard anything yet. I am an international student, waiting to hear anything from many schools.

Does anyone know what’s up with UCSF tetrad?

UCD called for interview invite today. 4 scheduled interviews so far.

I have never heard of students experiencing negative consequences as a result of asking politely to change interview dates. Programs are not looking to screw you over – they understand that you will be interviewing elsewhere and that your schedule is jam-packed over the next few months.

Pretty much. Don’t feel bad – this happens, and the programs expect it to happen.

Dear Grad Coordinator, I am x and I am scheduled to attend your interview weekend Jan y-Jan z. Unfortunately, I will be unable to attend on these dates. I apologize for the inconvenience, and I thank you again for your generous invitation. Best, cbck98

They actually overlap fully? That’s unusual – usually they are held on adjacent weekends, so applicants can go from UCSF to Berkeley to Stanford all in one trip.

I did not hear from the Stanford Cancer Program yet, but got an interview at Scripps and NYU.
Any news for you?

has anyone heard from Stanford Cell and Molecular Physiology???

@eyesonly6587
are you referring to Pharmacology and Cancer Biology??? because i got an invite from them last week

I’ve noticed that UCSF BMS dates are not coordinated with Berkeley MCB and Stanford, so this may be the case also with other UCSF programs (though not TETRAD).

@Imm2010

I received the same email form UConn, i hope its good news.

What if you’ve already gotten the school to book an airplane ticket, and THEN you want to cancel? Is this still OK? It hasn’t happened to me, but I’m worried about what to do if it does.

How did you hear from Tufts, was it through their online status check or did they contact you. I am still waiting from Tufts, I applied to their Immunology program
