2011 spring transfer Fordham University

I know that Fordham has about a 48%-51% admission rate but i was wondering what my chances would be applying as a transfer with a 3.0 from Montclair State in the spring 2011 semester. I wrote a really good essay and I'm getting a really good letter of rec from someone whose husband actually teaches in the MBA program there. Are the spring transfer admissions rates higher compared to the fall transfer admissions rates??

I don’t know, but I applied as a spring transfer too, so I hope so! But when I was looking at one of those college books, it said that for fall 2009, out of about 1000 transfers, 800 or so were admitted, so that’s a pretty good amount if the book was right.

At the University of Baltimore, about 95% of transfer students who complete the application process are admitted. Students with a 3.0 would be guaranteed admission and eligible for a $1000 scholarship (for full-time enrollment).

UB’s urban campus is located right next the the Lyric Opera House, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and dozens of little theatres. Situated to the Station Noth Arts District, Baltimore’s Mid-Town section is a wonderful place for modern dining and has a vibrant social scene.

if you’re still considering transfer to another school you should definitely see what we have to offer! ([University of Baltimore - Admissions](Office of Admission | University of Baltimore))

Hello I am currently a Sophomore in RHS. I am not sure about the statistics on fall vs spring but I know that it is sometimes easier to get in if you transfer rather then apply from the beginning. A 3.0 is a solid grade and if you put the time into your essay and make it a good one it will be sure to help as well as the letter of recommendation which cannot hurt but only help you.
