<p>Missed call from a Baltimore number. I looked it up and it’s Johns Hopkins Cellular and Molecular Medicine program. They didn’t leave a voicemail, should I call back or just wait?</p>
<p>I already got an interview at Hopkins’ BCMB program, and they’re emailing me asking to confirm. The one I wanted most (Pharmacology) has the latest deadline in January so I probably won’t hear from them until at least then. Pretty conflicted on what to do… Why do they let you apply to 3 programs for only $10 extra and then have completely separate deadlines and interview dates?</p>
<p>And congrats biochem! Which date are you going to attend?</p>
<p>are rejection emails sent out at the same time as interviews? or do they hold off on some in case those who interview do not work out?</p>

<p>Congrats! Although the Hopkins BCMB and CMDB departments are “different”. I’m sure the research is very similar, but BCMB is affiliated with the medical school and CMDB is affiliated with the graduate school. I don’t think there is much of a difference apart from that though hahaha.</p>
<p>I also just got the invite from Cornell which is (?) different from Weill Cornell? I don’t know… This is so much more complicated than applying to colleges - I just want to go do research someplace…</p>
<p>It should indicate where the email came from, was it med.cornell.edu, or just cornell.edu?</p>

<p>Does anyone know when the research places (scripps / Rockefeller) send out invites? Someone was already invited for scripps it seems - but they might have been fast-tracked?</p>

<p>UCSD Biological Sciences interview! Interview “weekends” (they are actually Wednesday - Thursday) are Feb 1-2 and Feb 22-23. So excited!</p>
