Sloan Kettering invite!!

Just got an invite from UPenn-CAMB, interview dates of Jan 12-14.

Did anybody hear back about interviews from OHSU/Vollum Institue’s Neuroscience Graduate Program?

Just discovered that Sloan-Kettering’s interview dates (Jan 17-19) conflict with my first week of school. Why are interviews on a Tuesday - Thursday? And I’m guessing throwing in a Monday and Friday to travel from California.

Now what… I should probably drop all classes except for the one I need to graduate huh? Guess that is one advantage of graduating early/taking a year off that no one told me about :(

seems Yale is sending out invites via phone today as well :)

Got an invite to SKI as well!

It might be a stupid question, but what happens if Berkeley MCB, for example, can’t reach someone on the phone (I’m abroad right now so my American number doesn’t work)?

Just got an invite from Yale BBS - MCGD as well!!

congrats mobio! Ugh still waiting to here from Penn, but hopeful it will happen soon. Have you gotten interview elsewhere?

No invite from Sloan Kettering. I think they only do invites once, so…

Interview invite by email yesterday for UCSF Tetrad–Feb 24!

@rocafella congrats! i’m still hoping to get it. do they send all invites once?
If you don’t mind, are you a US citizen, when did you submit your application?

Just got an invite from UPenn CAMB as well. Same weekend Jan 12-14.

Congrats to everyone! So many interviews coming out :)

Also just got an interview at UCSF Tetrad (also Feb 24th) so I’ll quit lurking and post stats

Your professors should be understanding of your situation. When it was time for me to do interviews, two of the classes I was taking I needed to graduate. When an interview weekend clashed with an exam date, for instance, I was always allowed to reschedule the exam. I’m sure you’ll be fine.

Definitely seems like today is the day for interviews! Congratulations to all!

@sheetz I’m sure they’ll come! They do these things in waves, so people shouldn’t be worrying! But I got interviews at Washington University DBBS and Northwestern IGP as well.

@loong: thanks! i am american and i applied around mid-november, if i remember correctly. i have no idea if they sent out all invites already, but based on gradcafe it definitely seems like it’s only the beginning.

@evangelene: how did you hear back from mit csbi so quickly??

@rocafella - Not sure! Just received a form letter.

@mobio2012: When did you get your Northwestern invite?

Yes! Invite from University of Pittsburgh!
