2012 UCLA Transfer Decisions-Only TRICK Thread

Hmm it seems that the professional school transcripts may not mean anything.

9 more days!!

Just logged in to my URSA Account( I took the summer session last year at UCLA) to “View grades&GPA” and it asks me “Please select the year and term you would like to see”: clicked on FALL 2013 and this what I get :

Student Name: ITAY LAPID

Explanation of abbreviations used for Grades and Grade Types

Grade information on URSA OnLine is the same as that available to the Registrar’s Office staff. Grade changes and the replacement of Incomplete grades are updated daily. Note: Removal of Incomplete grades are posted in a subsequent term. If grades are not shown above, they have not been received from the instructor or are still being processed. All grades for the term should be available no later than two weeks after the last day of final examinations.

The GPA is normally calculated two weeks after finals: therefore, while grades may be shown, the most current GPA may not yet be available. As soon as the GPA is calculated, it will appear on this page. The GPA is the grade point average for graded UC courses. The Total Units is the sum of the units for graded UC courses, courses taken P/NP, courses taken S/U and non-UC courses.

What do you see when you click on “View grades and GPA”-- Fall 2013?

Is anyone else able to access “degree progress report” and “bruin bill accounts” on ursa?

@itaylapid. I got the same this as you

*thing as you do

@ alevy123 I can access “degree progress report” but it just says that I’m a summer student

In addition, I just clicked on “Find a class and Enroll” for summer 2013 and it gives me lots of classes to add.

I think everyone can do those things. The change that we should be looking for comes from the Financial Aid column.

DO NOT ADD ANY CLASSES. Unless you really want to enroll and pay a $150 non-refundable fee.

Any changes in your guys’ financial aid page?

Nope. How about you?

I can add classes to 2013 Fall class planner on myucla. I can also send emails from my ucla email (I think because of summer session, I didn’t add classes though.)

I can also access the planner but it won’t let me log in my email.

^ are you selecting webmail through MyUCLA? That’s what I do, and it feels great to send yourself and email, LOL :)

Yeah that’s the one I’m trying to access. Is it the same password as your URSA?

^ Yes, it is the same password.

Can’t access my UCLA email either. Maybe you guys have already been accepted. I can log into myUCLA and URSA but not the webmail.

^ did you create your account today? If so, then you won’t see an email for at least 24 hours.

Ah, did it last night so it’s definitely not been 24 hours.

I’ll check again tomorrow. Atleast I can look up the internships now :)
