4 on AP Calc AB, 2 on English Lit.
Didn’t study for both whatsoever!
Most I did was go over a little bit the structure of the tests!

@RivingtonRebel
I’m actually quite surprised I got a 4, I was expecting an in-the-middle 3 at best. The multiple choice seemed very difficult to me, and I thought I did quite poorly on the FRQs. I think I just got saved by a really in-depth DBQ since that gave me opportunity to get points. I think the test was hard for most everyone this year, so the curve probably helped a lot.

Calc BC: 5, 5 subscore
US Gov’t: 3 – what the heck? NO. Probably missed a bubble or something. The day before I was on a roll on the MC / FRQ and I even got a 5 on the teacher’s mock AP final exam. The actual test felt just as easy and I thought I was almost guaranteed a 5. (Except I was a little rusty not having US Gov’t for several months, questioning whether the Senate or the House had the veto power before the test with a mindspot IDK what happened, when I felt like I could do the entire FR)
Comparative Gov’t: 4, expected 4/5 as it was rather difficult.
Spanish: 2, kind of sad, and I heard the easy passages were last while I wasted all my time on the hard passages…
Lit: 2… FELT LIKE A 4. WHY. OKAY FINE, I’M NORMALLY NOT THAT GOOD AT ENGLISH BUT WHATEVER. AND NORMALLY THE PASSING SCHEDULE IS GENEROUS

Oh well, goodbye only 3 classes that aren’t Math/Science in college, but all this means is that I must take 2 more humanities/arts classes instead of sciences. RAWR

@manmadeofbacon: oh ok thanks. I felt the same as you so hopefully i get a similar score.

Just checked online, got mine.

Art History: 4 - Not surprised, but was kinda hoping I could edge out a 5. Royally screwed up the two long essays and the Giotto short answer, but was confident on the other 5 short answers and almost all of the multiple choice.

US Gov: 5 - Thought the test was straightforward.

English Lit: Didn’t come up.

Macroeconomics: 5 - Not surprised, I was very strong in macro, though I failed to read half of the big FRQ - just didn’t see it on test day. The rest of the FRQ and most of the multiple-choice I was sure about, though.

Microeconomics: 5 - Astounded, thought for sure I would be in the 3-4 range, really just didn’t bother during the micro part of AP econ and did not really prepare for the exam. Definitely botched 2 of the 3 FRQ’s, but I was so happy when I saw that payoff matrix.

Psychology: 5 - I was sure about this one, felt I earned at least 95/100 MC and almost all of the free-response points.

Spanish: 4 - Really wanted a 5 for my teacher, but with art history on the same day and a rough listening portion, I couldn’t really manage it.

Statistics: 5 - Wow. Thank God for the investigative task being about “exploring data.”

No 3’s or lower, I’m happy!

Zezima, ^ those memories ha. Yeah i really hope i’m getting a 5 on AP Lang. Got a 4 last year. Going to cry if i dont )"""": lol

wat 4, isnt gud enuf 4 u?

^ seriously zezima, you have the best username. So many childhood memories :P

Screw your AP scores, I have 99 in all stats. im lv 126 MAXED MELEE KIDS! I have 4 red phats and 3 max cash stacks!

I feel bad for the people that don’t know what we’re talking about. ha. Cornell only takes a 5 for Lang.

I’m dying to know what I got!!! Does anyone know if teachers receive scores early?

Got mine from Georgia Tech!

Environmental Science: 5 - I am so happy with this one! I was really expecting a 4 but needed the 5 for the college credit, so when I saw it I was like YES! Definitely my favorite of the 4 scores haha.

Statistics: 5 - Totally expected, can’t get credit for it anyways but still a nice reassurance.

Calculus BC: 5 - WHAT?!?! Ok, so I got a 5 on AB last year, because I had a great teacher. This year, I was the only kid to continue on into BC, so my teacher stuck me on the computer the entire school year where I basically did MathXL and used my calculator for everything. I literally learned Taylor and Maclaurin Series like 2 days before the exam, and wrote “I <3 AP Calculus readers!” on the polar question that I had no idea how to do. I already had the credit I needed from my 5 on AB but still HUGE shocker when I expected like a 3!

US Government: 4 - Was kind of leaning towards a 5, did really well on all of the mock exams my teacher gave us, but she never really gave us many mock essays, so maybe that was my issue. Still good enough for college credit though!

My AP career:
1 3
3 4s
6 5s
National AP Scholar!

@zhulagirl, does the date reported from GeorgiaTech from your scores that you received this year say July 2012?

Yea it does, which is weird. It has all of my old scores on it too, which is good, and also helps me confirm that the new scores are actually true haha.

I hope so… I got my scores from Gatech aswell, I hope they are correct.

Where on Gatech ( Buzzport)are you seeing the scores?

@MichiganGeorgia

If you go into the application details on the bottom right of the first page that opens on Buzzport and scroll to the bottom, they should be mixed in with all of your other SAT/ACT scores.

@Rebecca0123: Educators don’t receive the AP Score Rosters until July 10 or 11.

My university says they got the AP scores, but haven’t updated them in the system yet. Grrrrrrrr.

@izhulagirlz - Thanks. My DS just checked. His new AP scores aren’t listed yet…

Texas A&M has my scores!
This year:
BC Cal - 5 (AB Subscore - 5) I expected nothing less.

Environmental Science - 4 I didn’t know what to expect, since I hadn’t studied but didn’t find it particularly difficult. I’m pretty okay with a 4, all things considered.

Physics C: Electricity & Magnetism - 5!!! I’m shocked, but incredibly happy. That was the hardest test I’ve ever taken.

Overall, I’m leaving high school with 8 5’s and 6 4’s.
