More good news here. DS just got off a second waitlist! He now has a choice. So SS Indecision it is for us (for any of you that followed the HS Class of 2011 thread). He’s thrilled. I don’t know which he will choose.
I hope others are getting good news, or have already made a decision!
He needs to start thinking hard. That April 30 deadline will here before he knows it.
But congratulations on the happy news.
Congratulations VAmom2015 and your DS! Hopefully he will get financial information soon to help him make his choice. My D is waiting on that after getting off the WL so she can compare her burden across schools before 4/30. I really don’t think it will end up mattering too much since I doubt she will get any help because of us and her de-WL school is IS and her favorite.
Is he going to second looks? D is only going to 1-- she’s so busy with midterms, finishing up her research project, and trying not to let down her group project by bailing on them every weekend.
DS is going to one second look. Missed the other one. His decision isn’t based on FA but on military vs civilian school. He’s going to be in the military so he just needs to decide whether to start his military service now or in 4 years. He needs to decide which choice is best for him.
Fingers crossed for some good FA news for your D, camomof3!

DS finally has received an acceptance! It came in yesterday from one of his waitlist schools! So happy and the stress level has dropped so much! He is still hoping for other acceptances so he can have choices, but if nothing else comes in, he likes this school and will be going to medical school!!!

Thank you! March has been a very good month. We are very thankful that she is now thrilled about the school she’s probably going to matriculate at and I think it is the best fit of all her options.
