2014-2015 College Essay Topics?

Hi everybody,

I know that UChicago and UPenn have recently released their 2014-2015 supplement essay topics and that the Common Application will be keeping the same essay topics for the next year. What I'm wondering is if any of you know of any other colleges that have already released their topics for the upcoming year. If you do and reply, that would be greatly appreciated!

I know UVa has (<a href=“Notes from Peabody: The UVA Application Process: 2014-2015 First-Year Essay Questions”>http://uvaapplication.blogspot.com/2014/06/2014-2015-first-year-essay-questions.html</a>) and Georgetown has (their questions are acessible from the application, since they don’t use the Common App).

I have been wondering about the same thing too. Is it true that most of the colleges do not change their essay questions.

Yeah I’m not sure! I just want to see which ones have released their newest essay topics so I can start working early. Don’t want to waste time on essay topics that are from last year and have changed haha.

@CE527M‌ Can you post the link for the Georgetown application? I can’t find it.

Thanks for sharing great links

Does anyone know if there are any supplemental essays for Virginia Tech? If so, can someone post the link?

Stanford has released its prompts! <a href=“Page Not Found : Stanford University”>Page Not Found : Stanford University;

Any other colleges who released prompts?

I recommend checking out CollegeEssayOrganizer.com. It essentially organizes all of the prompts from hundreds of colleges (list being added to daily), and gives a notification whenever one of the schools on your list has updated its prompts for 2014-2015. It’s a lot easier than going to each school website individually, especially because those can be difficult to find before the Common App is released. You don’t really need to use the paid version- the free portion still gives a lot of useful information.

@CE527M‌ What about MIT and Harvard??

@DivineE MIT still has not released theirs as far as I know

Does anyone know that george town released the prompts for 2014 or not?

Yale has released their essay topics: <a href=“Application Instructions & Components | Yale College Undergraduate Admissions”>Application Instructions & Components | Yale College Undergraduate Admissions;
