No. 'Twas a joke. Was poking fun at the “OMG my browser took 3 seconds longer than normal to load the page! Is it a sign of the end times!?” post that happens every ten minutes.</p>
<p>What if the second batch has been released and we are all just a part of the reject group ??? Anxiety has made me come up with several possibilities …</p>
<p>@zezemaze A scarier thought is that the first batch was the only wave of acceptances. The rest of us are fated to either the waitlist or a rejection.</p>

<p>@refreshe18 agreed…seriously this is too ridiculous !? Why would they have such a large group wait so long. Unless we are the minority D: I think those who got accepted already from a diff UC prob aren’t as anxious; however, for those of us who haven’t heard back from any UC yet are in a true state of panic. </p>
<p>@zezemaze i agree. Im in that second group. I got waitlisted to SDSU and I’m pending still for UCSD. Basically waiting on both and the wait is killing me. A 3 week break between “batches/waves” is excessive. To whoever can wait and is thinking that those getting upset is odd- it’s wonderful for you all that it isn’t so important but for some of us it is. </p>

<p>I agree. As a parent who has read alumni essays for UC Berkeley a few years back, I have some limited knowledge of the process. I get it, it’s overwhelming going over the apps. But either roll them out in a consistent manner or do it all on one day and make that clear. To send out one batch early in the game and then stop is not an effective strategy.</p>
