Here are the productions the Bass School of Music will be producing during the 2015-2015 school year:

There will also be additional musicals and operas that are student produced and directed by OCUStripped and OPERAtions. Those have yet to be announced.
Additionally TheatreOCU will produce a wide variety of straight shows (non-musicals) through their MainStage, Black Box and student run productions. I will post here when those are announced.
Lastly, many MTs also audition for and participate in the Fall Choreo show through the dance school.
The cast list for OCUs opening production of RENT got posted Friday!! Happy to report for the class of 2019 that there are at least 4 freshman cast as leads including my daughter!!! They double casted the leads which is also a nice touch!! So far we are thrilled as is my daughter more importantly with everything OCU has to offer. Auditioning has been constant since the beginning of school two weeks ago!! The Freshman class has a choir and they have already officially performed twice since the start of school in addition to all the leveling and auditioning. If that ( auditioning and performing) is IMPORTANT to your child then don’t overlook this school!
