What is the distribution this year?
@qbt937 My guess is that Collegeboard just wants to safeguard for years in which grading all AP Exams takes longer than expected. In most cases, of course, they will finish early.
@tobester Alabama is on 4th of July holiday - I doubt they will update before early next week.
Does anyone know when the scoring guidelines are released? Very curious to see if my responses made it for the student responses section.
@pathospablo Now I must ask, who do you think you are exactly that you believe your answers specifically, out of thousands, were selected? Lol…
@Kyuutoryuu I never said that haha. I said I was curious to see. It never hurts. I’m more curious about what the graders were looking for because a 5 on AP Language was NOT what I was expecting.
My synthesis essay on the exam was the only synthesis essay I ever wrote, my rhetorical one was my strongest, but the last question was just a compilation of me being super sarcastic with examples in how I said being polite is never good thing haha
I always bomb MC, too, so I know it was my essays that got me a 5
Does anyone know if AP exam scores are listed on Emory’s OPUS yet? I checked in “Transfer Credit History”, but there is nothing there.
@pathospablo Scoring Guidelines and Sample Responses usually don’t come out until fall (like Late September if I remember correctly). Also wanted to say I totally understand your interest in seeing if your responses show up. I have two friends who both believe that their responses were published - one for the 2013 Bio exam (questionable because the responses are difficult to distinguish) and another for the 2014 APUSH exam (very obvious due to this person’s unique writing style and horrible handwriting). I totally understand your interest; it’s awesome to think that one’s own response is chosen from all the others!
@bluejeans22 Yeah I did, though I know for sure I answered a couple parts wrong.
Checked the website. Late July.
is there any way to see scores if you were a junior last year?
I somehow managed to pull off a 5 in Calc AB, Gov, and Lit. Woohoo!
How did you see your score already?
How do i change my ip?
1 day, 21 hours, 31 minutes
@XCBro4Life Using a proxy IP address is very simple and I did it on my iPhone last year. You cannot use a proxy to access your scores until July 6th because CollegeBoard will not allow students to access their scores before that date. It also depends on where you live; I live in Florida so my scores are not officially available until July 8th, but with a proxy from the Northeast I can access them on July 6th. Sadly, I do not think that Emory has uploaded my scores onto OPUS (their student portal) so I cannot access them like students at other colleges and universities can. If you are a rising college freshman, you may be able to view your scores on your respective college or university’s student portal in a “Transfer Credit” tab somewhere. Here’s a link to a discussion where the OP goes step-by-step about how to use a proxy to access AP scores:
If you have an iPhone, you can also download the “Open Door” app to access your scores early. It removes all proxy restrictions and what not.
@FLStudent97 thanks dude. Yeah, i’m from Tennessee and I dont wanna wait until weds. Rice hasn’t uploaded scores either…
