@CaliCash Oh my gosh. I am such a terrible person. Compassion?!?! UF must HATE me now. How SELFISH of me for using the spot on the scantron to send my score. I guess I won’t be getting into any college after all. Thank you SO much for pointing my lack of compassion out to me. I will do my best to make it easier for the colleges out there, because they are sooo kind to us and they show just compassion that it was honestly rude of me to put them through that situation.
In fact, I am currently writing my apologetic letter to UF as we speak. Golly, I hope they forgive me. Actually, I hope I can forgive myself for performing the formidable task of sending my AP scores.
Should I send scores to colleges before my senior year?
If you are taking AP Exams before your senior year and wish to send your scores to a college to which you know you’ll be applying, then make sure to bubble that college’s four-digit code on your registration AP answer sheet. You can also request additional score reports online. However, in your senior year, if you take an AP Exam and designate a college to receive your scores on your AP answer sheet, that college will receive your entire score report from all AP Exams you have taken throughout high school unless you have requested score(s) to be withheld or canceled.
Sending score reports to colleges you will apply to in the future wouldn’t hinder chances. That makes no sense at all. Like cocolover said, it WOULD show interest because you are taking the time (and $$) to send scores to a school you wish to attend.
You also don’t know if cocolover has family working at UF or other circumstances that would lead her to consider it a safety. There is no need to be so harsh, especially if your hatred is fueled on a rejection from UF itself.
@CaliCash When you send your AP scores before senior year, they usually keep them in a file associated with you, and will pull them back out when senior year rolls around. There’s absolutely no harm in it.
Biology: 3
Macroeconomics: 4
U.S. Government: 4
English Literature: 4
Statistics: 4
I’m pretty bittersweet tbh. On one hand I got credit for all my tests and passed them all but on the other hand I got my first 3 (BIO) and I didn’t get any 5s this year
On a side note can anyone help me. I’ve taken 11 total tests, 10 of which have been 4 or higher. Am I eligible to be an AP National Scholar or does my 3 on BIO ruin that?
@kinglime National AP scholar is an average of 4 and scores of 4+ on at least 8 exams. You’re eligible if you got at least one 5 on any of the exams since that will make up for the 3 on Bio. A 1 or 2 or any low score won’t disqualify you from national AP scholar as long as the average is at least a 4.
APES - 4 (still got credit, worth)
AP Gov - 5
MSS (Abbreviation by my college, anyone know what this means?) - 5
AP Stat - 5
Physics C - 5 (How?!?!)
Chinese - 4. Wow this is really sad considering I’m Chinese. Whatever though, I didn’t deserve a 5 anyways.
U of MN scores are up! They can be found by generating an APAS report through MyU, under the Academics tab.
This year I had English Lit and Comp, Psych, Physics C Mechanics, Calc BC, and Macroecon, and I somehow managed all 5’s!!
I was expecting three or four 5’s, but I’m shocked about physics, like @MrWiggles because even though I did well in class, that exam did not go all that well for me. I’m entering with 33 credits!
To those of you still waiting, may the odds be ever in your favor!
AP Bio - 5
AP Lit - 5
Calc BC - 5 (AB subscore: 5)
Macroecon - 5
AP US gov - 5
AP Music Theory - 4 (4s for both aural and nonaural)
Needless to say, I’m happy I’m ending my high school career like this. A little disappointed with music theory, but I knew I’d screwed up the aural frqs. Going into college with eleven 5s and two 4s, which is over 50 credits I think! Good luck to those still waiting for their scores!
I didn’t send my scores to any colleges (and am not a senior) and so I won’t get my scores until the 9th :(.
Does anyone know why they have the score distributions (which must include everyone as they have a count of the number of students who got perfect scores) and they send the scores to the colleges, but they don’t release them to AP students until July 6th-10th?
@qbt937 The scores are released by time zone to keep their servers from getting congested. You can see your scores on the 6th if you use an east coast proxy when accessing your account.
