Okay Tufts, we’re ready for some acceptances
Are they just sending out all the rejections first and then acceptances? Or are there just very few acceptances this year?
@ree4050 I know a couple of people outside of College Confidential who have been rejected too. It seems unlikely to me that Tufts is going to have a Stanford-esque acceptance rate for transfers, they’re not really known for being that harsh on transfer applicants.
Yeah there were two kids from my high school who got in as transfers last year so when I saw all these rejections, I was a little surprised. Do you know how many more rounds of decisions there will be?
I have no idea, I don’t think it’s really possible to know.
I called two days ago, and they said there will be in many different waves of acceptances/rejections
until June 1st.
I really hope I find out before June 1st… I don’t want to wait that long haha
It’s kind of weird that they said until June 1st, the website says most people receive a decision “on or about May 15th” and June 1st isn’t really in that scope
Maybe they said that in case they run behind schedule and don’t want to release decisions after they said they would.
