accepted, around a 3.6 gpa? idk my school doesn’t calculate it. 2130 sats. accepted at bowdoin and colby too, rejected from middlebury, and waiting to hear back from a bunch of other schools – but i’m going to bowdoin i think.
I tried to access my decision and the website says “This page is no longer available.” what do I do?

Rejected. 3.5ish (rank 53/141 
), AP Chem, AP Calc, AP Lang, college physics, 33 ACT (31, 34, 31, 36). All extracurriculars were senior year but I did really well in them. Rejected also from Boston College, Boston U, Bowdoin, Vandy, Northwestern, and more to come. Accepted to Middlebury though, where I’ll probably go. Weird how these things work
I received my package by mail today. I live in NYC
Hey guys, received my package today. I honestly applied to Bates as a safety-ish school because I thought with my stats in range plus being from Texas I’d have a great shot. After being rejected from some higher ranked LACs I was bummed out, but I’ve taken a really good look at Bates now and I’m really excited about the prospect of attending. It seems like a fantastic school. Still waiting to hear back from a few more schools before I make my decision, but congrats to everyone who got in- I’m so excited to be around intellectually curious peers and professors (essentially having an entire school be equivalent to the top 10% of my high school class). To everyone who was rejected, I know this has been said x1000, but an admissions committee in no way defines your intellect or worth. It sucks at first, but if you were competitive for Bates, you will end up at a great institution regardless.

tehspacetv, your story sounds like my son’s. He is a happy sophomore at Bates who feels totally challenged. From my perspective, it is probably a better fit than what were his top choices. Great food, too!
