3-4 weeks is a long time! I wonder why they’re taking so long when other majors have already gotten decisions back
I recall you applied for creative producing, correct? I’m not entirely sure if that time frame applies to you. Keep an eye on your portal! And don’t stress!
PR and Advertising! Hope I hear sooner than that. How did your interview go?
Chapman’s Dodge College is highly competitive. I think they just want to make informed decisions.
I think it went really well! Now, it’s the waiting game.
I also applied for creative producing and have not heard back. I did not receive anything yet even an interview. Do interviews only apply to production majors?
What kind of questions did they ask you?
I believe interviews are held only for Film Production applicants. To my understanding, interviews are utilized to make informed admission decisions for highly competitive majors. Film Production is highly competitive with a 6%-7% acceptance rate. Contrarily, acceptance rates for all other Dodge majors range from 30%-40%. Hope that helps!
Wow! Thats very competitive. I haven’t received anything yet from Chapman though. I hope it isn’t a bad sign. May I ask what kind of questions they asked you?
Do most transfers get housing? Like can a transfer live in Chapman Grand for their sophomore year or is it unlikely?
Are the creative producing peeps gonna get their hopes up for Tuesday again?
not creative producing, but my hopes are up nonetheless as per usual
Anyone still anxiously waiting for decisions to come out? I’ve applied for film production and haven’t gotten a word about an interview lol
Same. I applied to film production as well and not a peep.
Do we think we will hear anything later today?
At this point, I doubt it
I really don’t think we will hear anything for another two weeks or so. I’m frustrated because I have to start registering for next semester at my current four year university… so at this point I just have to pretend like I’m not transferring at all. I have a feeling waiting for USC is gonna be worse though.
same! Because I don’t know when and If I’m getting in anywhere I have to register for classes and housing at my university
At this point, if decisions aren’t out within the two weeks then I’ll apply to another university I got accepted into ;__;
hey guys, i just got my update. i didn’t get in. i was trying for screen acting which is a dodge major. i know a lot of dodge majors in here are still waiting. hopefully you guys hear some good news. i’m rooting for all of you! good luck!
