I was here last year awaiting decisions so I completely understand your anxiety about the āwaiting gameā I was initially rejected but appealed and was accepted later in the summer for spring2022. So, any questions in regards to how the appeal process works I can try to answer based on my experience. Also, feel free to ask anything else, I will be happy to try to answer to the best of my abilities.

Itās been a long time since Iāve been in the College Confidentialās USC Transfer thread. Hopefully this thread is helpful to you as it has been for me. With that being said, Iām not quite sure where people stand in the transfer acceptance but if you have been accepted to USC and possibly looking to spend some summer hours working at USC, please let me know. We are looking for some Residential advisors for day and night staff for our summer program at USC Annenberg. Itās a great opportunity to familiarize yourself with the campus, and get some of your networking skills on early with some professors and other professionals at USC. I think about you often! So glad you dropped in! How are you liking the program? Are you settled into things? (I realize you just started in spring.)
Of course!!! I am loving the program. I was selected for an E-board position with my association for the next school year and going into my 2nd internship in the summer. From being rejected initially, to appealing, to being accepted for spring, to starting and now finishing up my first semester (finals week). Its been quite a remarkable journey thus far.

I applied to USC as a French major with a 4.00 GPA from a community college and I havenāt gotten my decision back. I see that several others got their answers back here and Iām worried that I got rejected because itās taking so long. Is there a specific time that decisions get released or a specific day? Should I be worried or am I freaking myself out?

You are freaking yourself out. 
Most of those that have heard are TTP or VPP - those with a hook. Regular transfer decisions in bulk have yet to arrive!
What do you hope to do as a French major? Thatās very interesting! French is a small tight knit department there, I am guessing you will get good news!

has anyone heard any success stories of getting in with a lower GPA in the spring than the GPA you got in the fall? Iām probably ending with a couple of Bās and that worries me
