2022 Admissions

Hello everyone,

I am looking to apply to apply to Cornell, UPenn, NYU, Emory, Northeastern and BU as reaches. I am a black female with a 3.99/4 gpa. I may apply test optional depending on how my SAT goes. Some EC info, I am currently working at CDC (Center for Disease Control) in the communications division, I am Co president of the Diversity Council, I am a Head of Tour for Admissions. I have also started my own initiative with my sibling focused on helping young children, we’ve helped over 10,000+ individuals. I have worked at UKAID similar to USAID but the British version. I will have taken 8 AP classes by the time I graduate. I am doing an independent study on female political representation as well. Please share thoughts and areas to improve

Stats and ECs look awesome — what is your weighted GPA? Do you have some safeties and likelies as well as matches? Looking very solid; good luck!

Yes I have UMD Penn State and American University of Paris. My weighted gpa is 4.12!

My likelies are the UC’s schools, American and George Washington

OP requested reader thoughts and areas on which to improve:

Whenever I read claims of young adults who “have started my own initiative with my sibling focused on helping young children, we’ve helped over 10,000+ individuals”, I ask for proof.

My suggestion is that you include a statement–if true–that verifiable proof of such claim is available upon demand and will be included as a part of any application.

Otherwise, despite the lack of any standardized test scores, I think that as an AA female with great ECs & superior grades, that you will be viewed favorably by any school to which you apply.

If applying test optional, then other parts of one’s application takes on added significance.

Thank you so much! I have attached my website and the registration forms of the initiative to verify this to colleges.
