Hello all.

I am a rising senior and beginning to fill out my Common App. In the “family” section of the app, it asks to enter where and when my siblings/parents attend or have attended college. Currently, my brother is enrolled in a 3-2 engineering program with Dartmouth and Colby. How should I enter this into the App? I plan on applying to Dartmouth myself, so I am trying to let them know that my brother attends, even if it only helps a little. Thanks

Where is he now? If he hasn’t moved on yet, you just list the first place. If he has moved on and has started classes at the second you can list both.

And it really is OK to email the admissions office and ask them how to record this.
