<li>Race/ethnicity does not seem to be more important than other characteristics. If you're concerned... come take a look at the current student population. :) They do, however, run a "Bridge to Medicine" program, which teaches sci/math to high school students (not necessarily minorities, but they encourage minorities to join it) and guarantees them an interview (but does not guarantee admission) if they do very well. I could be wrong about the details here, cuz I've only heard about it from other ppl...</li>
