So I got a 4.0 my first semester at Duke (with an A+ in my hardest class). Is that going to greatly help my chances at getting in to places like Wharton, Harvard, Yale, and Columbia? I obviously understand that the chances are slim regardless, but I feel like a 4.0 from a similar-caliber school will bode well with the admissions staff. Or at least I hope. If you guys have any advice on how to make myself stand out among the very similar, and very qualified, other applicants, it'd be much appreciated. Thanks all!

Not really. Harvard’s transfer acceptance rate was 1%.

So I’m still eating a 5% chance it looks like?

Don’t question it, just do it and see what happens
