The prestigious Watson Fellowship announced the Class of 2018 Fellows, and this year, Hamilton led all the partner colleges (prestigious LACs and small universities like Rice and Caltech) for the most winners: 4.
“Although students from 40 peer schools are eligible to receive these awards, no other school had more than three recipients this year. Student Fellowships Coordinator Virginia Dosch can’t remember a year in which another school had four recipients.”

Congratulations to the recipients and to Hamilton College! A true testament to the strength of fellowship advising and the rich passions of the students attending.
Interesting coincidence that all four follow each other alphabetically in the list of Watson Fellow recipients here:

It’s also interesting that of the 40 recipients, only two (5%) attended a university versus a liberal arts college.
That’s because the partner schools are a set group of schools most of which are LACs.

Thank you. I’m aware there is a group of partner colleges. My D researched the Watson Fellowship when she was attending Vassar. Nevertheless, I assumed a number of universities are partner institutions. I was foolish for assuming and being lazy and not taking the time to research the list. Lesson learned.
