It just sunk in to me, that many of us will get our letters in 4 weeks. As I write the committee is deciding on our futures.

It's at least out of our hands now. No more stress on us. Although it is apprehensive to wait for the future.

aw, lucky you--it's still 8 more weeks for us (transfers)

still, all the best to you!

^^ yea...at least we know that theres nothing else we can do....i don't know if that's good or bad though..lol

Transfers hear back in May/June, NOT in April...

uhh i know that...was referring to AY8888's post...i applied undergrad....

I just concluded that I will not get accepted. That way, there is nothing to worry about.

lol how optimistic of you...

does anyone know if the decision letters are mailed on april 1st, or are they mailed like a week in advance so that we receive them on april 1st?

prolly on april 1st

.<

who cares? that's why the internet exists...

Is it true that Harvard e-mails their decisions, too?

Yes, if you have registered your request to receive the email and your address with the admissisions office. Also it is a good idea to do the email test with their computer well before the date. Some computers will not let the mass emailings through, and many students are disappointed when they can't see the results, and must wait for the arrival of the physical envelope.

How do you do the e-mail test?

There are directions at your application site, and also in a letter they send. Check your mailings/letters, and the admissions website.

Did anyone who did the email test get their email back right away? Because I just did mine now (Sunday night) and didn't get anything...

yea i did mine earlier and nothing...i guess we'll get a response tomorrow...i hope

Yeah it takes about a day (maybe more i dont remember exactly) to get a response back on the email test

I'm sooooo excited! 5 seconds of looking at my decision will change and determine my entire life!

I received my test notification email today (12 hours after testing it)
