<p>hmm i seem to be mistaken. the scaling I talked about is only for our kaplan testing through the program, not the aamc. Barron's review book says a 15 in PS and BS is a 52, 14 is a 50-51. Verbal is still the same.</p>
<p>Don't get me started on those Kaplan curves. My friend missed 26 questions on one section on a Kaplan diagnostic and still scored a 11 on that section.</p>
<p>I found the Kaplan tests to be slightly pessimistic indicators of my actual exam back in the old days (2004) when I took the MCAT. Apparently the real thing has gotten harder while Kaplan has not kept pace.</p>
<p>(The Kaplan curves were more generous, but the questions were harder. They balanced out to be net slightly harder.)</p>
