5 Courses = Suicide? Settling the debate once and for all..

Zante, Zante, Zante… chill. I haven’t started studying for the LSATs, and I’m taking them in October.

hehehe
you sounded like phil right there, with the repeating zante's.

I was just kidding about the LSATs, though my mom did make me take an SAT prep class freshman year, so I might be slightly psychotic about standardized tests.

You people and your classes tsk tsk

::sings::
::makes truffles::

"You people"?
Who's that?

:: plays badminton::
::jumps on trampoline::

Hardy. Har. Har. I try to add some goof to this community and this is what I get in return! Pfft. I'm off.

[storms off]

What? Philllll, that was our tribute to you :p

I wanna play badminton :( But more than that I wanna jump on a trampoline :(:(:(

Awww
Don't you have a backyard in your suite? You can get a trampoline there. And I'll come over and jump on it with you.

Dude, you should totally join Club Badminton with me! I'm planning on doing it, and my friend (who's going to be a sophomore) said it's not hard!

Okay folks, that's enough badminton for one day :D

Does Eco 100 usually have precepts, because the only thing posted on the registrar's site is:

We have to take two lectures (EVERYONE will be taking ECO 100 at 11:00AM Mondays and Wednesdays, since that's the only option :))and we have to take one "class". There is no mention of "precepts", so does CLASS = PRECEPTS for this course?

Yes. If you need a precept, it will tell you.

I believe class = precept for econ, gia.

What's up with the CXX A? What's the A for?

It must mean that the time is popular so they have two separate classes, or "precepts", at that exact time. E.g. on Thursdays at 2:30.

A = additional? alternate?

I plugged the Friday 11-11:50 into my scheduler. So much for not having classes Friday, since my Chinese class meets everyday anyway.

See you in lecture though, gia :p

I seriously love the scheduler - whoever showed it to me deserves a Big Huge Gold Star. Right now, I have 9 classes picked out that don't conflict with each other (except 2 FSems (yeah I caved), but they meet at the same time so it's cool), so I don't even have to do if/then situations with classes. YES.

I loved it too until it was mentioned that it might not have been updated for this year yet...so don't get TOO happy.

And whoa 9 classes?

I put my 3 classes + my first choice FRS (yes positive thinking). Hopefully I'll get them! >.<

Bascially, scheduler's a great tool but make sure you double check it with the registrar's website before you get your heart set on anything.

It is most definitely updated for this year. It has classes that weren't offered last year and vice versa. Don't worry about it.

lol I don't want to actually TAKE 9 classes. There's just 9 classes that fit into my "What I Need to Graduate" list that none of them conflict with the others perfectly.

Yup, that's what I'm doing too. ;) How do you get to the scheduler - from Blackboard or from the Student Course Guide? What's the advantage of using it? Does it in any way make it easier for you to get into particlar time slot for a class since you were "first come" and selected it in your scheduler first?

And you know how they say you should check out different lecturers for each course? Does that apply here, like go to 3 or 4 precepts and see which preceptor you like best? Or are the precepts with the same one preceptor?
