<p>Hi everyone!</p>
<p>I am looking to transfer to a school at which I can double major in Music Education and Musical Theatre. I came across NYU Steinhardt, and I am very interested in the 5 year program, resulting in a BM Musical Theatre and MA Music Education. I talked to my current voice professor about it, and he said he would be a little apprehensive about it, because 5 years for both of those intense degrees seems like a very condensed amount of time.</p>
<p>So, is there anyone on CC that is currently enrolled in this program? What is the quality of the musical theatre and music education programs? Are they both extremely good programs, or do you think that the short amount of time takes away from one (or both) programs?</p>
<p>I appreciate any thoughts!</p>
