I’ve been waiting for an admission decision, and I just checked my portal today and it says I owe $55. I have been checking the portal at least once a day for the past week and this has not shown up. Does anybody know what this is or has gotten this notification?

I just had that on my portal as well within the last hour, but it disappeared after several minutes. I’m not sure, but I think it is maybe just a glitch? I remember that it happened with some people last year too.

Thanks applecinnamon–I’ll come back and comment if it goes away!

I think we’re all good I literally just finished freaking out about that. Now that I refreshed the page, it’s gone.

Are you guys out of state, transfers, or freshmen? Just curious if this is happening to one group of us or just in general

@Encraig81: I am an in-state transfer applicant (specifically for business administration).

Mine’s gone now too! I’m an in-state freshman. Maybe it means they’re getting ready to send our acceptances or something.

Guitar, r u going for business as well? I was thinking the same thing. If two business majors had it happen I feel like it means they’re going through our apps right now or something

And if u don’t mind me asking, what r ur guys’ stats? I have a 3.5 GPA and a lot of work experience, no ECs really, and I’m a transfer

@Encraig81:

GPA: 3.45
No work
ECs (16-20 hours a week)
All GE and major courses completed at time of application

Encraig, I’m a bio major. And my stats are:

GPA: 3.8 UW, 4.3W
SAT: 2020
ACT: 30
A bunch of leadship EC’s, community service, etc.

Apple cinnamon, u and I are pretty much I’m the same boat, just swap out the EC for work. Do u guys think it matters when we applied? I waited a while in novemeber and peopleon other forums seem to think it means something

I didn’t apply here but going by what you say, I think that means your decisions will be released soon. I’ve seen this happen 3 times this year (with 3 different colleges) where a “hint” of upcoming decisions accidentally surfaced on the school’s portal. good luck!

@Encraig81: I’m not sure. From reading through threads from previous years, it appears that when someone applied didn’t really make a difference. But I really don’t know. They could be releasing decisions differently this year. I also applied in November (on the 24th).
