My Son just finished his test a little bit ago and said there was a fifth section with sixteen question that included Math and vocab. Anyone know what this is?

My daughter told me of a section that isn’t graded…so I’m assuming it’s this

Yeah, there was a 16 question section at the end. It’s not graded, and I believe it’s used to try to determine questions that may appear on future tests.

As my kid told me it was not part of SSAT, but rather an experimental section “for SSAT people to improve the test”. The kid said that this 5th section was not going to be marked. It was administrated at the end of the test and consisted of all different areas of “normal” SSAT, including math, reading, verbal.
Hope, this helps:).

From SSAT website:

Middle and Upper Level administrations of the SSAT also include an experimental section of 16 questions. This section is unscored and features questions that may appear on future versions of the SSAT.
