6 more days until Christmas eve and no gifts are under the tree..

ugh.. i have swim practice on christmas eve. my coach is an atheist.. figures. then xmas with the family, then training trip to california from 26th-jan. 2nd, the day before i go back to school.

anyway, sorry your circumstances arent the greatest.. i agree with the others, im sure your mom is really trying. another thing- try to get something for your little sisters... even if it's the smallest thing, just get them something, they'll appreciate it later im sure.

hey guys I GET IT!! LOL. No seriously Christ is awesome and having him in my life is totally a blessing.
For everyone who doesn't have anything to do on christmas eve, pleeease volunteer somewhere. A couple of hours of your time means the world to someone else!!!

mackie, its awesome that you are volunteering. if i had the time i would definitely do that...

christmas eve my family goes to jersey where a lot of people in my family live (the Spanish side).. you'd never guess I was part Spanish though, I look so waspy. we do this every year. a lot of people are there so there is a steady flow of little children lol. so of course there is a santa (a random uncle)... yes, i am forced to sit on his laps. btw this is all my dads side of the family

christmas morning is spent with my immediate family every year. sometimes cousins from california on my dads side stay at our house, which my mom hates, even though my cousins are awesome (she likes spending time w/immediate family). they are not coming this year though. anyway in the morning is gift giving and playing with toys lol, with Vanilla yankee candle burning and nice xmas music in the background. around one, we go to my grandma's house (mom's side) its jut my grandma and then maybe a relative or two... its relaxing.
so for me christmas eve is so hectic yet fun, and christmas day is calm and peaceful.
every other day on the winter break though, i have to be doing HW!!! AHHHHHHHH teachers suck!!! lol

That sounds awesome. I just recently moved to Georgia so all of my family is in brooklyn, NY. I really wish that i could be with them. It would make the holidays so much better sigh.
