I am a high school sophomore, and I know for sure that my career is probably going to be in the law field. I know that George Washington University has a six year BA/JD program, with acceptance into the law school during a person's senior year, but are there any other colleges with this program? What are the pros/cons of such a program?

If you love George Washington and want to spend 6 years of your life there, go there. You have the option of dropping the program throughout your time there if you decide you do not want to go to law school? This is key, if something happens that changes your mind. My college, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, has a similar program. I am now debating if I want to stay only 3 years. The reasoning behind this for me is I do not know if I will test high enough for Columbia Law. I may only end up at Albany Law. Although I am still debating this option because Albany is great for placing people in NY state government.

"and I know for sure that my career is probably going to be in the law field."

Sorry, but I find it amusing that you "know" that you're "probably" going to do something.

This comes up on the board a lot. As discussed previously, many of these 3+3 programs require you to take the LSAT, and my sense is that if your grades and LSAT score are good enough to get into the partner law school, you could probably also get in someplace better.

Also, if you finish undergrad in 3 years, then every undergrad/law school combination is a 3+3 program. So you might want to look for places that give generous AP credit or allow summer study, rather than those that have 6-year BA/JD programs.
