690 Math 1 vs 700 Math II: what's more impressive?

The reason I ask is the Math I 690 is like 75th percentile but the 700 math II is only 62th percentile.

And I'm afraid they're both too low even for an English major at an Ivy. On the bright side I have a 2300 superscore on SAT 1 (790 CR and 800 W) :-D

Hmm… where did you get those percentile numbers? Just curious.

I’ve always thought Math II was looked upon more highly simply because it covers math further in the curriculum. Though I suppose I’m not sure based on those percentages.

Personally I wouldn’t give second thought to just reporting Math II, but I’m not sure :</p>

The 700 Math 2 is better. The percentiles are skewed because stronger math students take Math 2.

Thanks Tenplenesis that’s what I thought.
