I just got my SAT II's back: 800 Math Level 2, 690 Chemistry. I guess I could self-study from now until october or whatever... or at least start in August or something. Anyways, should I retake this if I want to seriously compete for the best medical programs? (ie NU, R/B)

yes, I am not sure if either require the Chem SAT, but they will no doubt require two SAT subject tests(probably one in math and one in science) If these are the only two you have taken, I definitely recommend bringing up that Chem SAT–for the most part, the subject tests are a lot of memorization, so I am sure if you study, you can get that in the high 700s!

yes! if you can break the 700s you’re WAY better off… just study a bit with baron’s or something… all i used was baron’s and i got a 780 in chem after not even doing that great in ap chem

ok. i’ll try to review baron’s. thanks guys.

NU HPME applicants are averaging 770 according the website. So yes you should retake if you are applying.
