9 straight!

Wow, that was a tight one. Carr's record vs top 10 teams is very impressive, as is his record vs PSU (9-2, including 9 straight). I am still not sold on Michigan this season. If we can beat NU on the road next week, I think we will be back on track.

beat NU on the road? are you kidding me. NU just got BLOWN out by ohio state and lost to duke snapping dukes like 4 year losing streak. UMICH has the next of the season locked down until the last 2 regular season games...(ohio state and wisc.)

IT'S GREAT...TO BE...A MICHIGAN WOOOOLLLVERRRRINE!!!

it was close, but we blew a couple good chances at the 10 yard line..and what's wrong with the kicking? we screwed up 4 so far this year i believe, 2 in the first game, 1 in the 2nd and 1 today....like.. omfg

but anyway... notre dame's 4th game, and they are on the way to be 0-8 :)

I don't know 1MX, I agree that NU is not good, but road trips to MSU, Purdue and Illinois could be tricky. At any rate, I am glad we managed to beat PSU. That was a big win.

illinois? no....

I have been impressed with Mallett's mobility. He is no Michael Vick, but for a 6'7", 240 LBS QB, he can definitely move.

Our field goal kicker missed again today:s.
Isnt Purdue at home?

Hailing to the victors!

And didnt NU get like blown away 58 - 10 or something today?

Purdue is at home and Illinois and NU are indeed not that good, but I have reason for concern. What worries me is that a lot of those teams (NU, Illinois, Purdue, Minnesota, MSU) showcase a spread offense. That's when Michigan tends to break down defensively. Obviously, none of those teams have the talent to beat Michigan if we play well, but as Appalachian State and Oregon proved, Michigan doesn't always play well. The Illinois game is at night, and for some reason, Michigan does not play well at night. NU always plays Michigan hard. Purdue is a solid team. MSU is at East Lansing and they look solid. We will have a challenging road ahead.

I was planning on going to Valpo next weekend with some of my buddies, now I'm going to try and talk them into driving the extra 1.5 hours to go to the NU game.

Appalachian State lost yesterday to Wofford College (enrollment 1,300). I don't even know what to say about that.
