9 Years in a Row

Rose is number one again for engineering programs whose highest degree offered is a master's. Also our chemical, mechanical, civil, electrical, and computer engineering departments were tops once again (they don't publish individual rankings for the other departments).

What does this mean? Free ice cream Monday! Woot!

Have a nice day everyone.

Darn it, Nic, beat me to it! All of us EEs are quite happy with the department rankings.

We should, however, take all rankings with a grain of salt. This list is really about reputation, so the actual programs aren't analyzed in great detail. It's a great indicator of how well we're doing in general, but it doesn't indicate an absolute.

I'm sure everyone's excited, though! Enjoy ice cream on the patio, Nic.

7 more days and I'll be there.....guess I'll miss the ice cream. Great to know about the rankings.

How come that's the only place R-H is in the rankings? Does it not fit any other category?

Congrats to all the Rose students. I'm glad to be joining this coming year. See you in a week!

fireflyscout- no it doesn't fit anywhere else. Rose doesn't offer graduate degrees beyond master's and nothing except engineering and science. USNEWS doesn't do rankings for any of Rose's other programs.
