A 2040 (or 1380) chance at NYU Pre-med?

<p>I just applied to NYU Pre-med Early Decision and I am wondering what my chances are.</p>

<p>my SAT is 2040, CR 580, M 800, W 660
the score has been going up since this March, from 1660, 1820, to 2040.</p>

<p>my SAT II are Bio/M 700, Chem 700
i recently took Nov. SAT II Math 2/C but couldn't send the score because of the deadline.</p>

<p>my GPA is 4.11 weighted. Most of the courses are honors, and will be graduating with 6 AP classes.</p>

<p>2 good recs which are written by teachers who have known me for over 5 years.</p>

<p>no class presidnet, vice-president crap. I am an international asian and unpopular in my school located in middle of rednecked texas. its a private school too.</p>

<p>many art competitions awards, extracirriculars crap, and all</p>

<p>can someone evaluate me?</p>

<p>Why of all places to do pre-med would you choose NYU?</p>

<p>Is there BS/MD program at NYU? I didn't know...or did you just choose NYU for your pre-med study? </p>

<p>also, I heard that it is nearly impossible for non-citizens to enter Medical schools......unless they're super qualified....</p>

<p>but I'd say chances are pretty good. Again since you're international, college would cosider your bit low verbal score - good luck :)</p>
