^ okay, so it wasn’t just me hallucinating or being stupid!! it WAS march 31 before, right??

Apparently last year the D-Day was March 31, and according to people on this thread it is almost always March 31, but judging that Princeton, Harvard, and Brown are releasing their decisions on April 1, I would assume Yale would do the same. Especially since two-thirds of the Holy Triumvirate are releasing decisions on April 1, Yale “might as well” follow suit. Although I really don’t understand what difference a day can make in college admissions. For some reason I assume most decisions are made before the actual release of the decisions online.

^I think that it’s custom or something for the Ivies to release their decisions on the same day, so if HPB are releasing 4/1, then the rest must be releasing then as well.

And one day doesn’t make a difference in the decisions - it makes a difference for our sanity xD

^I think they’re actually “required” to admit on the same day. All the Ivies have long agreed to do so. If HP say April 1, then really HYPCBDC are all saying April 1.

Princeton site says “end of march” [Princeton University | Application Dates & Deadlines](http://www.princeton.edu/admission/applyingforadmission/deadlines/)

All I have to say is:

oh ok. my b…

“Congrats, you’ve been accepted”

APRIL FOOLS!

what a nightmare.

^ if i happen to get a ‘you’re in!’ message, i’ll refresh around ten times before i believe it just because it’s april fools day.

my friends are particularly cruel, they’ve all been accepted into their top choices already and are taunting me with a daily countdown until i find out about mine. i need to find new people to hang out with, obviously (:

aaah that would so mean! lol. It might come the other way around though :D

hah! i would be impressed if the admissions team had the nerve to pull an april fools on anyone ^_^

“Congratulations! We think you belong here! (…in the rejection pile)”

Hehe noo…Yale’s a really friendly school, they wouldn’t do that :P

^ Aw that would suck, and yeah, of course Yale would be too nice to do that :)

i hate this wait. any u guys, wanna bet on the acceptance %age thz year? i betcha itz gonna be higher

Higher? Why’s that?

Oops I guess I missed all the discussion on when D-day is.

So is everyone on here saying that it actually IS April 1 this year, even when schools have said that before and released on March 31?

I know Pton and Brown have explicitly given times so does that mean they’re actually following that this year? Ughhh another day to wait.

I attempted to log on to the admitted students page, and it told me to check back on April 1, so I assume Yale has that set in stone. Although anything is possible I guess.

My use of commas disgusts me.

Aw, but I like commas :]

Hahahaha. I like commas too, but only when I use them correctly. :)
