What does a biomedical engineer actually do during a typical workday? Take someone who specializes in chemical aspects of biomedical engineering. Does he work using computers? Does he work with physical models? Does he spend most of his days in the lab recording data?

In industry or in research?

Well, I'm already assuming that in research, they spend most of their days in the lab; so, lets go with industry.

BTW, which route will one make the msot $$$ in? I'm not trying to sound like a "oh, you're only in it for the money!" person; I just want to live comfortably.
