A definite unfair grade

Today I found out that I received a really unfair score on my final project, he gave me a ten out of 40 pts, and when I looked at his scoring sheet I should have gotten a 27 or 28, I only had three things not working. I know that I can't talk to this professor because he is egotistical, I put tons of hours into this final project, and even though I am transferring I don't want this final grade to haunt me when I transfer, so I am wondering if I should go talk to the dean or talk to the provost? Bc I know that this truly is a unfair grade this teacher has graded me really hard compared to other students and idk y? I looked at a paper that my friend did (from another hw) and for one problem that he got right, I only had one small thing missing, so instead of giving me partial credit he counted it all wrong. I am so ****ed right now, I spent literally hours on my final project, so if he treats me this way now then I'm glad I'm transferring now. Bc I can't stand teachers who can't grade fairly. Plus bc this school is a smaller school he teaches most of the CS majors, He is absolutely one of the worst teachers I've ever had in my college career. This final was worth 35% of our final grade too. Here are the point totals that he gives:Points Possible Feature or functionality
2 Submitted properly (according to instructions)
5 Front page shows shared bookmarks
3 Front page permits login and account creation
3 Login works (username/password combo)
3 Create user works (including duplicate names, and password generation)
5 Page after login shows appropriate bookmarks and share/unshare/delete options
3 Add bookmark functionality works
3 Add category functionality works
2 Delete bookmark functionality works
2 Share/unshare bookmark functionality works
2 Add comments to bookmark functionality works
2 Delete my account functionality works

5 Code layout, modularity, style, and comments

40 TOTAL POINTS POSSIBLE ("Final Project" Grading Category)

Definitely if I had only 3 things not working according to this I shouldn't have anyway possible received a 10. Clearly this is an injustice and since I am transferring I'm wondering if I should escalate it, bc I know its useless to talk to the professor.

Just go talk to the professor. Sometimes they do make mistakes. If that doesn’t clear it up (and you still believe it was unfair), then yeah, contact someone higher up.

Any time your grade doesn’t fit with what you expected based on your performance in the class, always always ask the professor about it. So far I’ve had grades accidentally entered wrong at least once per semester, and my GPA would be about .25 lower had I not been on top of it. Just make sure you ask your question in a way that makes it clear that you want an accurate assessment of your understanding, not a handout.
