So what does it mean by 3 As by one sitting? What does one sitting mean? Not sure it’s possible in the USA.

“one sitting” means no re-sits. For A-level students it means not having taken any module twice. I would guess if this applies to US students it would mean something like X score on SAT the first time you take it. However, from the look of that phrase it may not apply to US students. Where did you get this wording from? You may have to email admissions to see if this applies in your specific case.

cupcake, my kid told me. I didn’t know the answer so I asked here. I think it sounds like superscoring for SAT. For AP, very rarely do people retake. My daughter thought one sitting means the same year which was kind of strange. She read it off the website for either Oxford or Cambridge.

Out of context we cannot tell you what that means (only guess - and I very strongly suspect it applies to A-level applicants only, but I cannot tell you for certain). You need to email admissions if this is important to you.

I’m curious about the poster who said they were an “interview helper”? Which college do you attend? I’ve work in outreach at Magdalen and no one has heard of such a role. What do you do? Perhaps we should too.
