Ok I believe I know the answer to some of these through admissionsdaniels blog but some of them are a few years old(hence I want to make sure)

If my couselor recommendation and school report needs to be mailed to JHU...does my letters of recommendations need to be also mailed to JHU along with them or can I send them through the common application

Also, how come the supplement to the common application doesn't include the community essay?

Applicants to Johns Hopkins University using either the Universal College Application or Common Application can have their letters of recommendation submitted in one of two manners. First, if your recommendation providers choose they may submit their letters of recommendation online through the web site of both applications. Please review the UCA or CA Web sites for instructions on how to submit recommendations online.

As well, recommendation providers may submit their letters and evaluation forms through the postal mail by sending the materials to the Johns Hopkins University’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Be sure your complete name and birth date is included in all mailed application materials.

The process of submitting your school forms and recommendations is the choice of your school, guidance counselor, and teachers.
