I'm very interested in working on wall street either as a financial advisor, analyst, something along those lines.

How much math is involved with economics? I can grasp the concepts of all kinds of math but it's not my strongest subject.

What colleges offer a good economics program? I'm not talking Ivy.. just normal schools.

What can I do in high school to help? I'll hopefully take AP Stat and Macroecon next year. The business teacher in my school is crazy, so that's a no go

It depends on your track. Most BA degrees in economics only require calculus I, plus a course or two in statistics and econometrics.

Where are you located/what general geographical area do you want to go to college in?

Take as much math as you can. Take AP Stats, plus AP Macro and Micro if they are offered. I would also recommend a strong writing class. Do independent research on the internet for careers for econ majors and the courses that they usually take.

Im also interested in Econ and everything ive read the Undergrad BA is like calculus and stats. BS in undergrad is obiviously more math oriented. If you want to get a Ph.D in Econ your talking multivariable calculus and linear algebra

So Undergrad= managable math
above that= heavy math
