A few questions

So before I ask my questions here is a little background on me I am a Business Administration major with a focus in Accounting and I'm attending a small public school. I am very active in my campus community having participated in many student orgs, including founding an honor society on campus. I also have a 3.85 GPA. I am going to be entering my final year this fall and I will have taken 5 years to graduate and without a minor I will have had 132 units of courses when I finish up my undergrad degree..

My choices are these:

A) Get a minor in Political Science. It will add 9 units and force me to take 2 summer classes, so I will have 141 units overall.

B) Work in a small Law Firm over the summer.

So my questions are as follows:

Do you know if taking 5 years in college will hurt my application chances?

Would you go for a minor in Political Science or would you work at a small Law Firm.

Thank you all for your time.

Law firm. There is no problem with your GPA at all. If your LSAT is also strong you should be looking at the top 14 , and if you are up for admission to a similar candidate at say NYU then your law firm soft factor will come into play.

Taking 5 years of classes will not hurt you. Your GPA is what matters.

:) Thank you very much for your comments and suggestions they are most appreciated.

My LSAT score is very average right now but I am only now beginning serious prep for the June LSAT since school recently got out.

Thank you once again for the advice!
